Level 2: Food Safety & HACCP

We offer the "Primary Food Safety" - HACCP Level 2. This course takes eight hours and is certified by the Environmental Health Association of Ireland. It can be delivered over one or two days depending on the needs of the client. We run public courses normally, but these are restricted at present due to Covid 19. The course can be delivered in-house, but a minimum number or minimum fee is required. If you are interested, please contact us for more information.

This course is considered the minimum requirement for food handlers such as chefs and catering assistants. The course requires a reasonable fluency in English to be successful, but it is possible for the exam to be taken orally for those with poor literacy skills or where English is a second language.

The certificate is valid for five years.
