Level 3: Management of Food Hygiene
We accommodate different criteria by offering several different courses at this level. The management level is essential for senior chefs, catering managers and supervisors, but everyone working with food can benefit from them.
The Management of Food Hygiene, Level 3, is the Environmental Health Association of Ireland course and is delivered over four full days. There is a two-hour exam on the fourth day, and a project on HACCP must be completed and returned within 28 days of course completion. Certification requires both a pass in the exam and a returned project. It is a very comprehensive course, requires commitment from the candidate and is ideal for catering managers and supervisors.
Management courses require fluency in English and a reasonable academic level to achieve a successful outcome.
